بیا وقت غروب امشب سراغ من
برایم یک سبد از واژه های مهربانی را که از باغ دلت چیدی بروی شانه ات بگذار
بیا امشب
کنار چشمه افکار من بنشین
دلم چون چشمه میجوشد
هزاران سبزه ایا قطره ای زین آب، مینوشد؟
بیاور واژه های تازه را شاید
بکار آید
زبان کهنه ما را کسی دیگر نمیداند
شب است آخر
سکوت خفتگان جاریست…

Bring me a basket of kind words you've plucked from the garden of your heart, lay them on your shoulder.
Come tonight,
Sit by the spring of my thoughts,
My heart bubbles like a spring,
Thousands of green sprouts, do they sip from this water?
Bring fresh words, perhaps
They will be of use,
Our ancient tongue is unknown to others now.
It is night after all,
