نور را آدمیان در قفس انداخته اند
تا سیاهی بتواند که جهانگیر شود
دستهایی که در این معرکه خونالودند
آب دریا را انکار کنند
پشت ابران سیاه، نور خورشید اگر پنهان است
قصه شعله شمعیست که پروانه به آن دلبسته است
باید از گل پرسید
چه کسی میسوزد، چه کسی مینگرد
شمع کم نور مرا، طاقت طوفانی نیست

Humans have caged the light,
So darkness may aspire to rule the world.
The hands, blood-stained in this struggle,
Deny the ocean's water.
Behind the black clouds, if the sun's light is hidden,
The tale is of a candle's flame, to which the moth is smitten.
One must ask the flower,
Who burns, who withers.
My dimly lit candle, cannot withstand the storm,
Yet the scent of courage,
Is the key to journey's form.
