در بندبند ندامت سرا ی شهر
در تو بتوی قفسهای بی قناری این باغ واژگون
اینجا نشسته ای
با ترس و التهاب
کایا اگر که برف ببارد
کایا اگر که باران
با مردمانچه سازند
نا مردمان دوران
مرگ تو ای دماوند

Your death, oh great one,
Oh migratory bird, oh eagle,
Was never a journey.
It seems you are still here,
Perched in the sorrow-stricken corners of the city,
In you, the idol of the birdless cages of this upturned garden.
You sit here,
With fear and inflammation,
Wondering if it will snow,
Wondering if it will rain,
What will the people do,
The unpeople of the era.
