یچکی دیدم که میپیچید
همچو نیلوفر به پای سرو باغ
گفتمش گر پا نداری
دست اندازی چرا
تاب دیگر چشم خود را داد و گفت
دست اگر یاری دهد

I saw one who was twirling,
Like a water lily at the foot of the garden's cypress.
I asked, 'If you have no feet,
Why do you reach out with your hands?'
With another glance, she replied,
'If the hand lends its aid,
This cypress will bloom with flowers.'
