شاید بیابی
گوشه چشمت، گرفتار کسیست
در وجودت ارزوی
سرزمینی، خلوتی یا جنگلیست
در کف دستان سردت
گرمی دستان یاری، عاشقیست

گور زخم دشنه ایی یا کینه ایی
لای اوراق وجودت، پر طاوس بنفشی
عطر گلبرگ گلی
رد پای صحبت ایینه ای
گر بجوری خویش را

In your existence, there's a longing for a land, a solitude, or a forest.
In the cold palm of your hands, there's the warmth of a lover's touch.
If you search within yourself deeply enough,
Perhaps you'll find the trace of a dagger,
The grave of a wound, a grudge, or a resentment,
Among the pages of your existence, a purple peacock feather,
The scent of a rose petal,
The trace of a conversation with a mirror.
If you search within yourself deeply enough,
Perhaps you'll find a confidant, a stranger.
